Drawing and Painting
Students will develop observation skills and realistic art techniques to create detailed, lifelike artwork. Students will learn:
Art History
Fundamentals of drawing 3-dimensions
(Shading and depth of field)
Realistic still life
Watercolor Painting
Acrylic Painting
Oil Painting

Building student application portfolio
and prepping for live-demonstration for acceptance to the CFA GATE Saturday program hosted by LAUSD.

A playful introduction to clay and mixed media art for little artists and their grown-ups.

Build functional or sculptural ceramics like

cups, bowls, pots or fun characters and abstract sculptures.

Process includes:

Shaping clay into 3D forms

Drying and bisque firing

Glazing

Final firing
