This class is offered as an 8-week program, completed at the student's own schedule.
Students will learn to hand build with clay, or throw on the wheel, followed by bisque firing, glazing, and a final kiln firing.
Class sessions are offered:
Saturdays 10AM-12PM / 1-3PM

Drawing and Painting Fundamentals
Beginner to Advanced
This class covers essential drawing skills using charcoal and pencil, and fundamental painting techniques with various colored mediums. This course is perfect for students wanting to learn the basics and create finished works they can proudly display.
Students will learn:

Proportions and accurate observation

Tones, shading, depicting light & shadow

3D form and realistic drawing

color mixing, layering, expression

Learn to use different mediums from pencil, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, acrylic paints

Fridays 4-6PM / 6-8PM
Saturdays 10AM-12PM / 1-3PM

Art Portfolio Preparation
Your art college portfolio will consist of 12-20 examples of your best 2-D or 3-D artworks.
We will help prepare a diverse portfolio that best reflects your creative mind, artistic and technical abilities.
